11.1.0.7 installer java version issue with AIX power 7 hardware.

11.1.0.7 patch install on AIX 6.1 os level and POWER 7 hardware has an issue with the installer java version.

When the installer is launched from the patch directory, it crashes with a java dump.

xxxxxx:/u03/oradata/stage/11.1.0.7_patch/Disk1> ./runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs

Your platform requires the root user to perform certain pre-installation OS preparation. The root user should execute ‘/usr/sbin/slibclean’ on all the nodes before
you proceed with Patchset Installation.

Answer ‘y’ if root has run ‘/usr/sbin/slibclean’ so you can proceed with Oracle
Patchset installation.
Answer ‘n’ to abort installation and then ask root to run
‘/usr/sbin/slibclean’.

cd /u03/oradata/stage/11.1.0.7_patch/Disk1

export JAVA_COMPILER=NONE

Launch installer – all okay.
